Cosmetology Operator License

Hair, skin, and nail cosmetology operator credential.

NC Department of Labor requires the following be complete before this license can be issued.

1,000 hours from a NCDOL-licensed cosmetology school
Pass the PSI written and practical exams
Pass the required state exam (administered by PSI on behalf of NCDOL).
Submit fingerprints for a criminal-history review through IdentoGO (service code provided after submission).
