Before you apply

North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission requires the following be complete before this license can be issued.

  • Hold or acquire a transferable Commercial Crab Fisherman's License under the limited-entry program
  • North Carolina commercial fishing license in good standing
  • Vessel registered with NCWRC if fishing from a boat
