Before you apply

North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission requires the following be complete before this license can be issued.

  • Hold or acquire a transferable Commercial Finfish Fisherman's License (limited entry)
  • Active North Carolina Saltwater Trip Ticket program enrollment
  • Vessel registered with NCWRC and U.S. Coast Guard documentation if applicable
