Before you apply

North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission requires the following be complete before this permit can be issued.

  • Identify species, source hatchery, and disease-free certification
  • Provide GPS coordinates and waterbody name for release site
  • Submit Permit Applicants Addendum (NCWRC-1420) listing all participating parties
  • Pass a site inspection by a state or local health authority before opening to the public.
