Before you apply

NC Department of Labor requires the following be complete before this permit can be issued.

  • Valid North Carolina driver license (commercial Class A/B if applicable)
  • Complete NCDOL-approved tow operator training
  • Submit fingerprints for a criminal-history review through IdentoGO (service code provided after submission).
